Jenna Lane Gibson was a soul free of weary sight. With open hands and an open heart, she created a family wherever she went—loving, accepting, and fiercely loyal to people from all walks of life. Strong-willed, steadfast, and unapologetically herself, Jenna lived by her own compass, never leaving anyone behind. Her strength, resolve, and unwavering spirit were gifts to all who knew her and stand as a testament to the time she shared with us.
She lived barefoot when she could, with grass in her hair and the sun kissing her skin. With bright blue eyes, she greeted both sunrises and sunsets, finding beauty in beginnings and endings alike. Jenna knew how to care deeply, laugh freely, and live fully. She was a seeker of peace, often found on long roads going somewhere… somehow… always searching for better, even when the answers weren’t clear.
Jenna loved big—bigger than most—and above all, she loved her people. She was a flame of life, an early-morning breakfast, a gentle hand to hold, and a soft place to rest. In her passing, we rejoice in her name, her spirit, and her being, and we carry her with us forever.
Jennifer is survived by her father, Charles Richard Lane, and her mother, Anita Marie Sidens; her beloved husband, Melvin Roy Gibson; her sons, Kristian Fisette (Candace) and Kel Jones (Mystery); her daughter, Jordan Lane; and her thirteen cherished grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends who were forever changed by her love.
A memorial service celebrating Jennifer’s life will be held on February 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Celebration of Life Room at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, located at 4841 39th Street, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
Jenna Lane Gibson—forever free, forever loved, forever remembered. 🌿✨
