Jose Guadalupe Guzman Barragan, age 57, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 in Groves. A native of Mazanillo, Mexico, Mr. Barragan was an auto technician. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Mr. Barragan is survived by his wife Reyna Diaz; his children, Edwin Guzman, Juan R. Munguia, Reyna (Jose A.) Rodriguez and Rosa Ortiz; his siblings, Hector Guzman, Pedro Guzman, Silvia Mora Guzman and Socorro Barragan. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Emmanuel Munguia, Alyah Rodriguez, Brianna Rodriguez, Alfredo Rodriguez, Josselyn Rodriguez, Arielus Ortiz and Amari Ortiz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00PM with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00PM at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home, A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mr. Barragan will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
