Mrs. Juana Gonzalez De Lopez, age 72, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Juana was born in Mexico to Enrique Gonzalez and Teodora Torres Ayala. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose heart was as generous as her smile.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Israel Lopez; her sons Jorge Lopez and wife Ana, and Israel Lopez and wife Maura; her daughters Maria Lopez, Elizabeth Lopez and husband David, Alejandra Magana and husband Luis, Juanita Lopez and husband Priciliano, Adriana Lopez and husband Jesus, and Yadira Lopez and husband Jose.
Juana also leaves behind six brothers, five sisters, six step-brothers, twenty-eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will continue to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique Gonzalez and Teodora Torres Ayala.
Juana’s life was beautifully centered around her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, filling her home with laughter, love, and the delicious aroma of her cooking. She also took great pride in tending to her flowers, nurturing them with the same care and devotion she gave to everyone around her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her.
A gathering of family and friends for Juana will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642. A Rosary and Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 PM.
A Catholic Funeral Mass to celebrate Juana’s life will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4600 Proctor St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
Juana will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, Texas 77619.
Juana will be remembered for her loving spirit, gentle heart, and the beautiful legacy of family she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us, her love will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

La Sra. Juana Gonzalez De López, de 72 años, residente de Port Arthur, Texas, falleció el viernes 24 de octubre de 2025, rodeada de su amada familia.
Juana nació en México, hija de Enrique Gonzalez y Teodora Torres Ayala. Fue una esposa, madre, abuela, hermana y amiga devota, cuyo corazón era tan generoso como su sonrisa.
Le sobreviven su querido esposo, Israel López; sus hijos Jorge López y su esposa Ana, e Israel López y su esposa Maura; sus hijas María López, Elizabeth López y su esposo David, Alejandra Magaña y su esposo Luis, Juanita López y su esposo Priciliano, Adriana López y su esposo Jesús, y Yadira López y su esposo José.
Juana deja también seis hermanos, cinco hermanas, seis hermanastros, veintiocho nietos, siete bisnietos y numerosos sobrinos, sobrinas y demás familiares que seguirán atesorando su memoria.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Enrique Gonzalez y Teodora Torres Ayala.
La vida de Juana giraba en torno a su familia. Su mayor alegría era pasar tiempo con sus hijos y nietos, llenando su hogar de risas, amor y el delicioso aroma de su comida. También se enorgullecía de cuidar sus flores, mimándolas con el mismo cariño y dedicación que brindaba a todos los que la rodeaban. Su calidez, bondad y fe inquebrantable conmovieron a todos los que la conocieron.
Se realizará una reunión de familiares y amigos en memoria de Juana el viernes 31 de octubre de 2025, de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., en la Funeraria Grammier-Oberle, ubicada en 4841 39th St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642. El Rosario y la Oración comenzarán a las 7:00 p. m.
La Misa de Exequias católica para celebrar la vida de Juana se llevará a cabo el sábado 1 de noviembre de 2025, a las 10:00 a. m., en la Iglesia Católica de San José, ubicada en 4600 Proctor St, Port Arthur, Texas 77642.
Juana será sepultada en el Cementerio Greenlawn Memorial Park, ubicado en 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, Texas 77619.
Juana será recordada por su espíritu amoroso, su corazón bondadoso y el hermoso legado familiar que deja. Aunque ya no está con nosotros, su amor permanecerá para siempre en los corazones de todos los que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.
