Leith Ashton Banks, age 88, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Friday November 22, 2019. Leith was born October 2, 1931 in West Bay, Grand Cayman. He was a retired Seaman with the National Maritime Union. He enjoyed fishing and bicycling.
Leith is survived by a son, Lyndon Banks of West Bay, Grand Cayman; three daughters, Carol Phillips, Cheryl Warren and Alana Banks all of The Cayman Islands. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He had two fur children, Penny and Jenny Lyn, that were the love of his life.
A gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday November 30, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Grammier - Oberle Funeral Home. A Service Celebrating the Life of Leith will be Sunday December 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. The interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
