Born on August 18th, 1947, in Port Arthur, Texas, Martha was the daughter of Charles and Thelma Capps. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Gary Moore. Throughout her 76 years of life, Martha embraced her roles with grace and dedication. She found immense joy in supporting her children, faithfully attending their numerous sporting events during their upbringing. An avid player herself, Martha thrived in the world of racquetball, often participating in tournaments that fueled her competitive spirit.
Martha's faith was a cornerstone of her life. For many years, she served as a Sunday school teacher at her church, imparting wisdom and kindness to her students until health no longer permitted her active involvement. Despite this, Martha maintained close ties with her fellow Sunday school ladies and continued her compassionate acts of generosity to those in need.
Martha leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Chapman and her partner Steve Desmond, and her youngest son, Troy Warr. Martha's grandchildren, Jeremy Chapman and wife Whitney, Lexie Chapman, Joshua Warr, Mariana Warr, and Annalee Warr, were the lights of her life, and her memory will forever live on in their hearts.
Martha Moore's life was marked by compassion, strength, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on those around her. May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her, in the embrace of God's eternal love.
