

Tammy Sue Lavergne, 49, of Kendallville, Indiana, formerly of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2012 at her home in Kendallville. She was born on January 23, 1963 to Hilman and Rebecca Lavergne in Port Arthur.
Tammy was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur until 5 months ago when she decided to move to Indiana to spend her final days with her boyfriend, Paul Morris. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Dancing, bowling and just having a good time were a few of her favorite activities; however, she had an extreme love for the beach and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Her survivors include a son, James Young of Orange; two daughters, Kayla Young and Emily Young both of Orange; her significant other, Paul Morris and his children Cheryl and Justin all of Kendallville, Indiana; three sisters, Tina Aymond and husband Patrick of Sulfur, Louisiana, Patricia Venable and husband Paul of LaBelle, Deborah Scoggins and husband David of Richardson and a cousin/brother, Dennis Lavergne and wife Denice of Stowell.
A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church with Father Duc officiating.
Cremation was under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Memorial Fund for Tammy Lavergne at Texas First Bank in Fannett or Mid-county, Acct# 10005254.
