Anita Cassara

Anita, daughter of Andrew and Anna Bozzone, was born August 23rd, 1916 in Newark, NJ. Anita married the love of her life Matthew (Mike) Cassara, spending 65 years together. They moved from the Bronx, NY to Charlemont MA, and retired in Port St. Lucie, FL for 26 years. Anita was predeceased by her husband Matthew, Brothers and Sisters, Vincent, Rocco, Antoinette, John, Salvatore, Gloria and Andrew. She is survived by her three sisters-in-law, Dolly, Millie and Grace, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cassara was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Anita was an avid knitter and it is believed that all family and friends have an Aunt Anita blanket. She enjoyed cooking and baking and once again shared with all family and friends her delicious recipes. Our Family would like to thank all of her friends that have comforted her in these last six years after losing Uncle Mike.

Visitation will be Monday, June 9, 2014, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie, FL. A Prayer Vigil will be at 7:00PM at the Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014, 10:00AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, FL.

Inurnment will be at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart, FL.
