Catherine Turner

Born in Omaha, NE, Cathy graduated from Colonial High School in Orlando in 1971. She married Josepph and moved to Davie, FL in 1997. The family moved to Port St. Lucie and Cathy was a stay a home mom with her Bacheolor Degree in Business from Florida Atlantic. Cathy spent numerous hours volunteering with Port St. Lucie American Little League and the Police Athletic League. She was voted Volunteer of the year in both organizations. She raised four beautiful young men.

Survivors include sons, Jesse Turner of NY, James Turner, Jared Turner and Josh Turner of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter Katy Barnes, her mother, Yvonne Osburn of Orlando, FL, and sister, Beverly McBride of Orlando, FL.

Cathy was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Clyde Turner and sister, Barbara Gillett.

Memorial contributions may be made in Cathy's honor to the American Cancer Society, 865 SE Monterey Commons Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996.

A Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 8, 2011, 1:00PM at the Aycock Funeral home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL.
