Dave was born and raised in Albany, New York. He worked as a Sr. Superintendent for Fairfield Construction for many years. Dave had a heart of gold and was a supporter of Compassion International, where he has donated to the well being of two young girls for ten years. He also donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dave was a man of faith who loved the Lord. He served as a Deacon at Genesis Church in Port St. Lucie. He was an avid New York Giants fan and baseball card collector. He loved and adored his family and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. His grandchildren will forever miss their "PAPA".
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Lanni.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Lanni; mother, Rita Lanni, of Albany; children, Brandi McKenzie (Jason), of Port St. Lucie, Christina Lanni, of Fort Pierce, Florida, David Kilgore, of Florida, and Jessica Larson, of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Leonard Lanni and Kenneth Lanni; and sisters, Linda Disser and Rebecca DiPace.
A viewing will take place on Monday December 10, 2018 from 11am-12pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983 with a service to follow at 12 pm. Committal will follow at White City Cemetery.
