Born in Opp, Alabama, Mrs. Hughes was a resident of the West Coast of Florida for the past 10 years, moving from Port St. Lucie, FL.
She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Port St. Lucie, FL.
Exa Jane was predeceased in death by her husband Merle L. Hughes and daughter Rhea Jean McEntire.
Survivors include a sister Maxie of TX; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
