

Born in Crewe, VA, she lived in Port St. Lucie, FL since 2007, moving from Fort Walton Beach, FL, where she lived 52 years.
Georgia served as president of the P.E.O. Sorority and Garniers Beach Garden Club in Fort Walton Beach as well as an educator in Extension Homemakers and a volunteer at the Humana Hospital of Fort Walton Beach. She was also active in the Mary Esther United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Boyle was preceded in death by her husbands, Moore Thompson Jr. and Walter J. Boyle; and a brother James Chappell.
Survivors include two daughters, Gayle Pike and husband Fred of Port St. Lucie, FL, Mar Lou Jennings and husband Barry of Port St. Lucie, FL; and a son, William (Bucky) Thompson and wife Lisa of Tallahassee, FL; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Lanza and husband Chris of Jupiter, FL, Mike Manasco of Miami, FL, Garrett Jennings and wife Amanda of Vero Beach, FL, Dylan Jennings of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lydia Stubbs and husband Matt of Valdosta, GA, Evan Thompson of Jacksonville, FL and Cameron Thompson of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren include Cody Jennings of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Kayla Jennings of Vero Beach, FL, Matthew Lanza of Jupiter, FL and Emerson Steele of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are two step-daughters, Sarah Kathleen Ryan and Colleen Boyle.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 1PM-2PM at Harbor Place, 3700 SE Jennings Road,
Port St. Lucie, FL 34952.
