Mary and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. This was a complete surprise to me. I did not know he was suffering with that terrible disease. I have been away from the St Lucie area for many years now, but continue to relish the memories of the close friends and wonderful, brilliant people I worked with. Joe was part of a close knit group we had on St Lucie. He was an excellent engineer and fun to be around. Backfit parties, card games, fishing as well as visits to your place Mary. I am fortunate and very happy to have been a part of Joe's life. Let us remember the good times we shared with him. All the best to you Mary and the entire family.

To Mary and all the Friscia family, our deepest condolences at your loss of such a wonderful man.  Great family man, professional man who helped shape much of Port St. Lucie and as neighbors and friends we personally will so miss his sharp sense of humor and the many neighborhood fun-filled parties we so enjoyed with Joe and Mary. I send my prayers and deepest condolences to Mary Friscia and the entire Friscia family.  I first met Joe in 1993 during my childhood, and I continued to see him when I visited Port St. Lucie.  What struck me immediately and continued to be obvious was Joe's appreciation for laughter and his love for his family.  He will be missed here, but will continue watching over and guiding his family from his place with God forever.  My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with his family.

To Joe's family I can only say that in this difficult time, it is your family and friends that will help ease the pain of your loss. 

I came to know Joe on a professional level. As a Contractor I worked on numerous projects with Joe and always found him to a True Professional in all ways. He was a man who knew his profession and was willing to hear your ideas about a project at hand. Over time we came to have mutual respect for one another and would bounce ideas off each other. I would stop by the office to see Joe and the gang just to say hi and hear about what was going on and he would stop working and take a few minutes to talk. I will think of him often as I pass the many projects we worked on together.

Deepest condolences to Mary and the family.  I worked with Joe in 1982 and 1983 at St Lucie plant and then when Ebasco opened the office in Stuart.  Fund memories of water sking and fishing with Joe, Pav and Milford.  Joe was a true professional and one of the most fun people I have had the pleasure to know.  Rick Girello

Mary, I don't know if you remember me, I worked with Joe at the St Lucie Power Plant, many many years ago.  We all had a lot of fun back then! Keeping you in God's warmth....Worked with Joe on many a project back in the hey days of PSL...I remember how excited he was when he opened his own office over there on Macedo.....Just to let you know..he was an awesome person for sure....

Mary, Ron, & Mike, I have all of you in my prayers. I have not been in Joe's office for a couple years now, but it was always my dream to be back there.  I miss his smile, his friendship, his no nonsense attitude and his sense of humor. When I first started out in the engineering field, Joe was the only one that gave me a chance. I tried to make sure that he never regretted giving me that chance. I will miss him dearly. My Love and deepest condolences goes out to all of you.

I met Joe working backfit at St. Lucie 1 in 1981. We had great times fishing and smoking stogies.  He was a great guy and Ii will always remember the fun times we spent together.
