

Joyce was born in Wappingers Falls, New York to the late Raymond and Margaret Herring nee Hoyt. She resided in Wappingers Falls until 1992, when she relocated to Florida. She was active in DAV Auxiliary in New York. Joyce worked as a Clerical Assistant for many years at various different positions. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and was known to spend her time painting, crocheting, doing needle point and ceramics. Joyce adored her grandchildren. She had an appreciation for life and knew that life is short. She would tell people to “Just do it” and “Live life for today for tomorrow may never come”.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Fedeli "Phil" Galioto; and her step son, Joseph Galioto.
Survivors include her daughters, Gerri-Ann Galioto, of Wappingers Falls, New York, Rae M. Galioto (David Heneka), of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Vicenza “Vicki” Jocelyn (William), of Port St. Lucie; son, F. Lee Galioto (Janene Gomes), of San Diego , California; step-sons, Gino Galioto (Patricia), of Oregon, and Michael H. Galioto (Milicent), of Sunrise, Florida; sister, Eileen Gover, of Port Orange, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; many step great grandchildren; step-daughter-in-law, Irene Galioto; along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Thursday September 28, 2017 from 2-3:30 pm with a service at 3:30 pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983.
