Louis Santangelo

Born in Providence, RI, Louis was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL since 1991, moving from Jacksonville, FL.

During the Korean War, Mr. Santangelo served our country in the US Army.

Prior to retirement, he was a Machinist for the Jacksonville Naval Air Station.

Louis was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was active in the Savannah Italian American Club, the Men’s Club and the Aerobics and Exercise Programs. He was also a member of the Cop Program for 14 years.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Irene Santangelo of Port St. Lucie, FL; and one daughter, Linda Rotenberg and her husband Mark of Port St. Lucie, FL. Louis was the youngest of 11 children.

A Memorial Mass will be Wednesday, September 19, 2012, 11AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
