

Born in Newark, NJ, Ludwig was a resident of Port St. Lucie for 6 years, moving from West Bayshore, NY.
During the Korean conflict, Mr. DeThomasis served in the US Air Force.
Prior to retirement, Ludwig worked in Westbury, NY for 45 years.
He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn DeThomasis of Port St. Lucie, FL; three sons, Glenn DeThomasis of Marlboro, NJ, Robert DeThomasis of Bohemia, NY, Craig DeThomasis of Gainesville, FL; two brothers, Chick DeThomasis of Hagerstown, MD, Brother Louis DeThomasis of Vatican City, Rome, Italy; and six grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call Thursday, August 19, 2010, from 2:00PM – 4:00PM and 7:00PM – 9:00PM at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie. A Prayer Vigil will be recited at 7:00PM Thursday, at the Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service with military honors, will be Friday, August 20, 2010, 10:30AM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
