Mirta was born in Havana Cuba, and was a resident of Port
Saint Lucie , Florida since 1999 moving from Puerto Rico. Prior to retirement Mirta worked as a preschool teacher in Puerto Rico for 30 years.
She was a member of Saint Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St Lucie, Florida.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Gonzalez; sons, Pablo Gonzalez and wife, Maryam and Patrick Gonzalez all of Port Saint Lucie Fl; as well as three grandchildren, Paul Andrew Gonzalez, Shannon Elizabeth Gonzalez and Antonio Andres Gonzalez.
A Mass will follow at a later date.
