Nadja Dufresne-Roberts

Nadja Dufresne Roberts was born to Jacques and Yvette Dufresne on September 25, 1968, in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. She moved to Brooklyn, New York, with her family at the age of four years old. Brought up in the Catholic faith, Nadja completed her first communion and confirmation. In 1980, the family moved to Miami Gardens, Florida and after graduating from high school, she began pursuing her passion of working in the medical field and ultimately completed studies to receive her nursing degree. As an RN she worked in many different nursing disciplines, from primary care, ER, to psych and enjoyed them all.

In 1994, Nadja met Darryl Roberts and on April 19, 1996 they married. Their union was blessed with children; Jordan & Darryl Jr. In 2006, the family moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Nadja loved cooking and creating new recipes, often cooking for family events and parties. Her other passions included her love of music and movies. She never turned anyone away she could help with medical advice or a good meal and many enjoyed both.

Nadja leaves behind her loving husband, Darryl Roberts Sr., her children, Jordan and Darryl Jr., her parents Jacques and Yvette Dufresne, and her siblings: Frantz (Carol), Ramces (Patricia), and Jean (Sharon), numerous in laws, nieces, nephews, including a great niece and nephew, great friends and Charlie (beloved pet). Her older sister Helen, and eldest daughter, Alexis Roberts, preceded her in death.

A gathering of friends and family from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life for Nadja will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 Southeast Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
