Dr. Patrocinio Rafols Libre MD

A funeral Mass and celebration of the life of Dr. Patrocinio ("Pat") R. Libre will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, eleven o’clock in the morning (11am) at Saint Lucie Catholic Church located at 280 SW Prima Vista Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983 where she was a devoted parishioner and valued member of the community for many years. On Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 4pm to 7pm, a visitation will take place at Aycock Funeral Homes, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983.

Through the years Dr. Pat Libre joyfully had brought into this world thousands of newborn babies practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Pennsylvania, the Philippines, New York and Florida.

She passed on December 13, 2015 while riding as a passenger on a car service, which crashed on highway I-95 in Palm Beach county. She is survived by her beloved daughter Anne Marie Corominas, grandchildren Derek and Sofia Corominas de Wit, sister Visayas Libre Sevilla and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and other close relatives living in the United States, Europe, Australia, and the Philippines.

A second service will be held on January 2016 at the church of Santuario de San Antonio Parish located at 3117 McKinley Road, Forbes Park, Makati, 1220 Metro Manila, Philippines. A third service will be held at the church of the Carmelite Monastery, Pope John Paul II Ave., Cebu City, Philippines. Afterwards, her remains will be brought to the church of San Juan de Sahagun, interred and reunited with her deceased parents, brothers and sisters at their family plot in Toledo City, Cebu, Philippines.

Pat was the youngest of six brothers and sisters born to Angel Lebumfacil Libre and Hipolita Mercado Rafols of Toledo City, Cebu, Philippines. She lived a full, compassionate and happy life that was unfortunately cut short at age 85 by this tragic accident. She will be missed and mourned deeply.
