In Loving Memory of Pilar Briggs. She may be gone from this earth, but she will never leave our thoughts, hearts, or memories. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her greatest legacy. I have never known or even met a more devoted pair of siblings than Tina and Roger Briggs. They were fully and completely devoted to their mother in every way. They took care of every need and want just as Pilar had done for them when they were growing up.  Our sorrowful hearts go out to the entire family as they grieve such a profound loss. There was only one Pilar, and she will be forever remembered by everyone that had the privilege to have known her!

My life won't be the same without her. She was the love of my life. She was the best friend and mama anyone could ever have. No other love compares to hers. She sacrificed so much when she left Spain to come to the States. She had to leave all of the family she had and all she knew behind her to start and raise her family here. Although she didn't know English well or this way of life, she conquered adversity and acclimated to a whole new culture with ease. She was determined and confident to make her stand here in this foreign land. Nothing stood in her way when she needed to provide for us. She made friends easily and was not afraid of the challenges she faced everyday. She provided a loving, supportive and fun home for us. She always made sure we had what we needed and even managed to give the things we wanted. Although she didn't drive, she found ways to get us everywhere. We didn't understand struggle growing up with her. Mom always had things in control and made everything seem uncomplicated and peaceful. I can't remember another time I was as happy as when Roger and I were children in California . Then we moved to Florida and we had a rough time for the first few years. But as the years went by a new chapter in happiness began. Mom became more independent and tough. She always had a strong resolve and never let the bad things create a darkness in her heart. She loved being a Mema to her two grandchildren, Dustin and Taylor. In time they blessed her with four beautiful great grandchildren. She felt honored when she told people she was also a Great Mema. She had a full life, and although there were some sad and difficult times during the years, moms life was filled with love and joy. There are a lot of people who cared and loved her. She was a uniquely special woman. I will miss her everyday to my very core, I know she is not suffering anymore and is living la vida loca in Heaven with Our Lord and her family. May she rest in peace.

Dear Roger and family. I am so terribly sorry for your loss of your mom. I’ll always remember her voice when I spoke to her on the phone you were Jason’s first friend when we moved to Port Saint Lucie. In fact, you were the only one that came to his birthday party when he was 13 I’ll always remember the conversations that I shared with your mother.🙏❤️✝️

I will always remember our trips to the beach ! Life guard stand 17! Playing cards all night after the kids were in bed! Teaching her to 🚗 drive and learning some of her recipes from Spain! Rest in Peace Billie! Sorry we didn't stay in touch but will always cherish our friendship ❤️ Love Linda

Wishing Pilar's family comfort and peace at this time.  I know that she has no more pain or discomfort.  I know that she couldn't be more proud of her family for loving her and caring for her the way you have even to her last breath.  Both Roger and Tina have meant everything to her and she was strong for you.  Condolences to you both and your family as you struggle to deal with this.  She is watching from heaven and she is so proud!
