Robert Leonard Thompson

Born in Providence, RI, Robert was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for 13 years, moving from Hillsboro Beach.

Mr. Thompson was a captain in the US Army during WWII in Europe.

Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Thompson Specialties, as a sales rep.

He was predeceased by his parents, Olaf and Emma (Bergesson) Thompson, his first wife, Lois B. (McGolpin) Thompson and daughter, Leslie P. (Thompson) Leduc, and sister, Marion (Thompson) Reed.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta (Raimbeault) Thompson, of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Elise A. (Thompson) Trumble and spouse, Ronald of Hilo, Hawaii; grandson, Nicholas Leduc, of Bradenton, FL; grandson, Nathan Leduc, of Miami, FL; son-in-law, Robert Leduc of Dandridge, TN; nephew, Stephen Reed of Lexena, KS, and niece, Jody (Reed) Shinn of Bradenton, FL.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 14, 2015, 1:00PM, at the Aycock Funeral Home, 1504 SE Floresta Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL.
