Andrea Ellen Preston

May 22, 1967 – January 31, 2025

Andrea Ellen Preston, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2025, at the age of 57. A native and lifelong resident of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Andrea touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and love for her family and friends.

Andrea’s life was centered around the people she held dear. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Kari Anne Shaw, and a proud grandmother to her four granddaughters: Ava, Belle, Gracie, and Paige. Andrea’s happiest moments were spent on the beach, enjoying the company of friends and family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Andrea is survived by her daughter, Kari Anne Shaw, and son-in-law, Joshua Shaw; her four granddaughters; and her siblings, Fredrick, Isabel and Cindy. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, Lorna Stewart and Samantha King-Churchill.

She was predeceased by her parents, Waldo Preston, Sr. and Lorna J. Preston, and her brother, Waldo Preston, Jr.

Although Andrea’s time with us was far too short, her spirit and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. May she rest in peace.

Service will be held at a later date in the spring.
