She was born February 20, 1935 in Portland, Maine the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Hoglund) Foshay. Barbara enjoyed dancing, painting, gardening, crafting and yard sale-ing. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grand children and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister Ethel Collins and her husband William Collins of Scarborough. Her children Jay Jackson and his wife Kelly Jackson of Clearlake Texas; Rebecca Christesson and her husband Keithan Christesson of Easton Pennsylvania; Joseph Dillon and his wife Pamela Dillon of Scarborough; Carrie Dillon and her finance Matt Greene of South Portland and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Timothy Jackson and her brother Ernest Foshay of Antigonish Nova Scotia.
A celebration of her life for family and friends will be held at 43 Beech Ridge Road, Scarborough at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th.
