Christine J. Bornales

She was born on Clark’s Air Force Base in the Philippines on April 19, 1973 a daughter of the late Gary Scott and M. Luisa Bornales of Lewiston.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of New England. 

Christine served in the US Army for a number of years as a dental specialist and later went to work as a dental hygienist.  A very artistic person, she enjoyed painting as well as gardening and the outdoors.  She was well loved and would give the shirt off her back; Christine was an inspiration to many. 

Besides her mother, Christine is survived by her son Vincent X. Gomez, her two brothers Gilbert and Christopher Bornales and her sister Judy Bornales.  She also leaves her dog Napoleon, whom she loved like a son. 

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 3 – 7 p.m. at the Chapman Room at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner Street, Auburn, ME.  A time of sharing, along with military honors will begin at 5 p.m.
