Born in Windham, Maine, he was one of 7 children born of Fred and Marjorie Jordan. Fred had his own painting business for nearly 50 years and was a perfectionist, taking pride in his cut-ins and paint strokes. Fred is survived by his wife of 40 years, Darleen Jordan. Darleen and Fred lived on Pettingill Pond, Windham, Maine prior to moving in 1986 to Port Charlotte, Florida. There he continued a successful painting business and was able to enjoy playing golf 350+ days a year; Darleen was a very understanding wife and appreciated his love for the game. Fred made many, many friends at Deep Creek Golf course. He loved playing poker and was an avid fisherman. Fred was always first to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and had a soft spot for stray cats, who he would take in. Darleen and Fred returned to Maine last fall to be with family during his final months.
Fred is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Margorie Jordan, his brother Dennis Jordan, and sister Tonya Harmon, as well as his grandson Shane Donnelly. He is survived and celebrated by his wife Darleen Jordan, his children Kim Donnelly, Scott Jordan and Denise and Chris Pulcifur all of Windham and Mike and Carrie Breton of Westbrook, Maine, four siblings and their families, Peter and Cathy Jordan, Terri Endicott, Timmie Heatley and Tabitha Barnett, grandchildren Greta Breton, Ian Donnelly, Madison Donnelly, Megan Potter and Dylan Pulcifur as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
