Marilyn was born on February 18, 1958, in Portland to Howard and Janette Stuart Jr. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, spending time with family and friends whether it was playing games or just having conversations.
She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Beverly and Ruthann.
Marilyn is survived by her children April Baker, David Baker Jr., Alicia Baker; Husband Lawerence Preston Sr and his son Lawrence Preston Jr.
The greatest joys of her life were also her grandchildren Kevin, Alex, Jaden, Nathan, Aaliyah, Bella, Bryce, Chelsie, Jasmine; her great grandson Silas; bonus grandchildren Alyssa, Kiely, James and MacKenzie. She also leaves behind her brother Frederick; sisters Judith and Belinda; sisters-in-law Nancy, Prinny and Donna, brother-in-law Pudgie; goddaughter Lisa and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 12-3 pm at Eagles on Saco Street in Westbrook.
