Rachel was born to Edmond A. and Wida (Saucier) Jalbert on August 26, 1953 in Corpus Christi TX.
Rachel attended St. Peters school and graduated from Lewiston High School class of 1972, and later from Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion. She was an avid supporter of the Maine Nordiques NAHL and was a billet mom to many.
Rachel is survived by her Mother Wida, husband Steven Palian, her son Edmond Lizotte, and his children. Hunter, Parker and Payton. She is also survived by her siblings. Sister Martine from Lewiston, brothers, Ronald (Susan) from Knoxville TN, Norman from Newport VT and Edmond (Kathy) from Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her father Edmond, her sister Dolly Roy-Carter, brother-in-law, Raymond Gagne Sr., sister-in-law Lise Doyon.
A catholic funeral mass will take place at Holy Family Church in Lewiston on January 17, 2025 at 11:00 am. Following the mass there will be a short prayer service in the mausoleum at St Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston.
On Saturday February 8, 2025 we will have a Celebration of Life at the Green Ladle, on the campus of Lewiston High School at 11:00 am.
