Amy Joyce Dobbins

Gentle, Loving, Caring, Generous, Helpful, Faithful, Joyful – these are all just other names for Amy. Devoted to doing good to others everywhere she went. Generous to all who needed. Well loved by all who have known her. Amy Dobbins was a noble ambassador of God’s Love and Peace.

Amy contributed to our society as a professional secretary in the medical, legal, and pharmaceutical fields. Retired from Glaxo in RTP in 2010. She is survived by her mother, Vera Dobbins; sister, Diane Doyle and brothers, Roger and Clifford Dobbins. She was preceded in passing by her father, Edward Dobbins in 2011. The bounty of love she brought to our world has been magnified as her spirit moves upward, rising as the tribulations and burdens of this world are released.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 2:30 p.m. Following the service will be a gathering and time to reminisce about Amy and how much she meant to everyone
