I thank Benny who sold pistols that had been left to me by my dad.  He always knew the right way to do anything concerning guns.  He was also available to answer questions about computers.  He was a good man and a great husband and father and grandfather.  

Sure did enjoy working with Benny during the last part of our careers at IBM. Will miss his knowledge of guns. Best to the family. -Charlie

Helen, I have not seen Benny for several years.  He and I worked together at IBM in the mid 1960s and I was transferred away from NC.  We were transferred back here in 79 and I ran into Benny occasionally after we moved back.  I am very sorry to hear about your loss. 

My condolences to you & your family. Benny was such a sweet man & I know he will be missed terribly. I loved seeing his sweet smile & he had a way of lighting up a room when he walked in. One of my fondest memories of Benny  was when I surprised him with an apple fritter! He just beamed like a kid in a candy shop! Here's to hoping you have a never ending supply of apple fritters Benny! Thank you for your years of service to our country & for shinning your light on all of those who had the joy of knowing you.  Rest in peace my friend.

I feel so blessed to have known Ben.  I enjoyed coming over to visit Ben and yourself with Lee.  Ben told so many wonderful stories of his life with you, and the stuff he cared for dearly and proudly displacing it!  
It has been a privilege and gift to me to have been a part of Ben's life as well as yours!  I will cherish each and every memory.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  Heart felt sympathies are being sent your way.

We, Sue & Larry and Helen & Ben have been Friends for Life, since the mid 1950's, meeting as fellow Marines and next door neighbors living off-base in Dumfries, Virginia while in the Marine Corps stationed at Marine Corps Schools, Quantico, Virginia.  We shared much togetherness at work and play, with friends; picnics, hunting, fishing, holidays, etc.  Not to mention our race to the hospital with their infant daughter Debbie who had drank what she thought was soda pop but was a cleaning solvent in a Cola bottle.  I could go on and on but must now pray that our friend Benny Rest in Peace.
