Betty Ruth Stone Elliott

Betty was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on October 17, 1944, to the late Harvey Alex Stone and Ruth (Upchurch) Stone. She attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church growing up, a graduate of Cary High School, and enjoyed a long career with Nationwide Insurance in Raleigh. Betty loved to sew and often made clothes for friends and family. Her other passion was cross-stitching. Betty displayed beautiful cross-stitching throughout her home.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Kenneth; son, Kevin Elliott of Raleigh; daughter Vickie Klapchar and husband Brian of Garner. Grandsons Kyle Elliott, Carson Elliott, Matthew Klapchar, Christopher Klapchar; brother Connie Stone and wife Mildred; sister Linda Haynes and husband William as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St. Raleigh, NC 27603.
