Carolyn Sue Schilder Gallimore, age 65, of Raleigh, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026.
Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband, Daryl Gallimore, of the home; her mother, Eleanor Schilder of Durham; stepmother, Bonnie Schilder of St. Petersburg, Florida; and mother-in-law, Judy Gallimore of Fayetteville.
Carolyn is also survived by her brothers, Rick Schilder of Raleigh and Mark Schilder and wife, Mary Schilder, of Raleigh; brothers-in-law Barry Gallimore and wife Pam Gallimore of Hope Mills, and Jared Gallimore and wife Laura Gallimore of Raleigh.
Carolyn leaves behind her stepson, Jonathan Gallimore, and wife Karly Gallimore of Fayetteville; stepdaughter, Kimberly Gallimore of Fayetteville; and step-grandchildren, Brayden, Jasiah, Kylin, and Kalea.
Carolyn is further survived by her nephews, Mac Schilder of Raleigh; Casey Schilder and wife Ally of Garner; Chase Schilder and fiancé Aurora Podpah of St. Charles, Missouri; Jacob Gallimore of Hope Mills, Eddie Gallimore of Raleigh; and her nieces, Laura Smith and husband Justin, and Katelyn Gallimore and fiancé Gavin Meeks.
She is also survived by her great-nephews, Bradley Schilder of Garner, Axle and Ava Gallimore of Hope Mills, and Weston Smith of Hope Mills, as well as her dear friends, Emily Walters of Charlotte and Linda Sinclair of Raleigh.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Schilder.
A beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Carolyn will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She was known for her love of the beach, cruises, and music—especially the timeless sounds of Elton John and Prince.
