Daniel Viera Botelho, 84, of Bethel, CT, died at Carillon Assisted Living in Knightdale, NC on October 10, 2011. Mr. Botelho was born in Fall River, MA on February 22, 1927 to John Viera Botelho and Sylvana Cabral Botelho. He served his country during WWII in the U S Army.
He is survived by his sons: Dennis Botelho and wife Andrea of Garner, NC, Daniel Botelho and Marsha of Raleigh, NC; brothers: Manuel Botelho of Danbury, CT, Thomas Botelho of Oklahoma City, OK, David Botelho of New Milford, CT; and his grandchildren: Chris Botelho and wife Heather of Lewisville, TX, and Sara Botelho of Jacksonville, NC.
Mr. Botelho is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Hazel Willcox Botelho; brothers: John Botelho, Peter Botelho, William (Billy) Botelho, and James (Jimmy) Botelho; and his sisters: Mary Howard and Sylvia Bonner.
There will be a Mass of Resurrection held at 10:15 AM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 46 Stone St., Danbury, CT 06810. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
