In loving memory of Donald Allen Schriner of Raleigh, NC who passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 after a brief illness. Don was the oldest of four sons born to Allen and Miriam Schriner of Elyria, OH. After serving as a marine in Vietnam, he began a lifelong career with IBM. An avid golfer, he could
frequently be found out on the course or practicing his swing in the backyard.
He was married to his wife Joanne for thirty-two years and had three children and five grandchildren whom he loved dearly. A daughter, Dawn, two sons John and Bryan, and grandchildren Tessia, Quinn, Zane, Jude, and Rowen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Bryan, and his brother, Douglas.
Don was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. We will miss and love him forever.
A private celebration of life service will be held with family and friends.
We ask that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Carolina Donor Society in his memory.
