August 11, 1946 – December 19, 2009Donald Ray Sinor, 63, passed Saturday morning at home, in his sleep. Don was born in Mountain Home, AR to the late Lawrence Ray and Elsie May Sinor. Don’s life is reflected by the family he raised and the business he ran. He enriched the lives of all who met him. Always ready with a warm smile or stern guidance. Those who knew him, always looked to him for advice, and somehow he always knew what to say. His presence commanded respect. That respect was well earned by the dedication and hard work he poured into his life. Everything he touched did well. Don created Capital Office Supply in 1986. Today it is a thriving company whose people are as much family as they are coworkers. That reflected Don’s nature. With him business was personal. He will always be remembered for being the one who got it done. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pamela Donovan Sinor, sons Scott Lawrence and Sean Michael, Scott’s wife Diana and their children Donovan George and Savannah Lily. Don is also survived by five sisters, Bonnie Beachey, Peggy Miller, Bessie Gebien, Linda Key and Melody Watts. A celebration of Don’s life will be held Tuesday 6-8pm at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home at 1701 E Millbrook Rd in Raleigh. All who knew Don are welcome to attend.
