Jacob Daniel Dumas of Cary, North Carolina, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 19th. He was 19 years old. Jacob was born in Cary on October 4, 2001. He graduated from Athens Drive High School and happily began his college education last fall at UNC Charlotte.
Jacob was the beloved son of Vickie and Robert Dumas of Cary, and brother of Dr. Matthew Dumas of Richmond, Virginia.
Jacob enjoyed many activities including playing video games, skeet shooting and spending time with his friends. He was keenly interested in his Jewish heritage and enjoyed learning about the faith and history of Judaism. Jacob was a warm and loving child and had grown to be a fine, young man with a bright future.
Jacob is survived by his loving family and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A private celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
