James proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Carolina Trailways in 1991 after many years of safe service.
James is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Cade.
James is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy “Dot” Cade and son, David Cade.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Rolesville Baptist Church Cemetery on W. Young St., Rolesville, NC.
