Jeffrey "Jeff " William Kaehler

Jeffrey William Kaehler (Jeff), 47 of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away at Rex Hospital on June 22, 2014, with his father by his side. He was born November 9, 1966 in Kingston, NY to Allen and Doris Kaehler.

Jeff attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville as well as a graduate of Ulster County Community College and Strayer University with degrees in both Business and Engineering. Jeff had a great compassion for all animals and was a wonderful advocate for them. He was also an avid fan of baseball and golf. Jeff was a gentle, loving, kind and giving spirit and will always be remembered as such.

Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Kaehler; stepmother, Nancy Kaehler and brother, James Kaehler.

Jeff is survived by his beloved father, Allen Kaehler; sister, Laurie Schleede; stepsister, Jennifer Arnott; nephew, Michael Schleede and niece, Samantha Schleede.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC. (919) 876-6900.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, NC.
