Bill was born June 11, 1930 in Durham County to the late John K. Roberson and Juanita G. Roberson. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Aline; sons and daughter-in-law, Will, of Charlotte, Jim and Amy, of Louisburg; grandchildren Rachel and John of Louisburg. In addition he is survived by sisters, Geraldine Roberson and Patricia Bass (Steve) of Rocky Mount and brother, Robert Roberson (Diane) of Little River, SC and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives, Tuesday April 30 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh NC 27609.
Funeral service will be Wednesday May 1 at 11:00 am at New Hope Baptist Church, New Hope Road, Raleigh, NC.
There will be a private interment following the service.
