I will miss Uncle Logan, so very much! He was such an awesome character.  In these past 10 years he really loved working out at the farm and driving around doing errands for Sharon. I think it was like driving his mail truck... and he was serious about which routes to take too.  You didn't dare question him or suggest a GPS... He'd tell you firmly that he didn't need any "stinking GPS".  LOL

Above everything, he loved God and he loved his family.  Since last year when his health started going downhill, he insisted that his best times would be spent at home, watching FOX news or sitting on the front porch and watching the farm work and keeping up with what everyone was doing. One of my favorite memories was on his trip to the farm when he was in a wheelchair, barely able to get around, but he wanted to drive!  So, we decided to get in the golf cart and take a drive.  He drove all over the farm for at least half an hour.  He smiled so big, and laughed and we had a blast.  That was just 2 months ago.

I guess God (and Lorraine) decided it was time for him to go home.  I will miss Uncle Logan terribly and look forward to the day when I get to hug his neck again, up in heaven.

Michelle & I send our deepest sympathies for Poppy (as we called him)!  He was a wonderful husband to my mom, father figure to me and grandfather to Michelle.  We were blessed to have had him in our lives.  Since we just lost Jimmy on 9/6, we will not be able to attend the services as it is just to soon for us to attend another funeral.
