Nicolle Ann Bateski

Nicolle Bateski would like you to know that her work here is done. She received a call, sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with God. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be at the beach every day blessed with sunshine and happiness.

Nicolle was born on June 16, 1992 in Raleigh, NC. She graduated from Millbrook High School in 2009 and earned an Associate’s Degree in Science at Wake Tech. She found her passion for pastry design as the manager of Gigi’s Cupcakes. From an early age Nicolle never met anyone she couldn’t call a friend. Regardless of the huge umbrella in place and two inches of sunscreen covering her fair skin, she would crawl over to the nearest beach goers just to say hi. She had a “no fear” love of life. From parasailing in Mexico, feeding sharks in Curacao, exploring caves in the mountains to climbing 6 flights of stairs up to an unmarked apartment to China Town which opened to a room filled with Louis Vuitton, Prada, & Gucci purses, she enjoyed all life had to offer.

She is survived by her mother and father, Jennifer Parker and Paul Bateski; brother, Nicholas Bateski; maternal grandparents, Robert and Susan Warren, paternal grandparents, Ann and James Bateski; Uncle Gregg Warren; Aunt Cindy Simms and Uncle Bill Simms, Jr.; Aunt Diane Wells and Uncle Tim Wells; her cousins, Madison Warren, Jared Simms, Micah Simms, Gracie Simms and Megan Wells.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 7 p.m., Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. prior to the service.

To her beloved friends and family, how precious you all have been to her. Knowing and loving each one of you was the success story of her life. Finally & most importantly, Nicolle would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor, unfortunate soul in her name.
