I enjoyed Virginia's company many times on visits to relatives in Raleigh.  She was always so warm and welcoming.  I loved her sense of humor as well.  She will always be in my heart.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Virginia was my Godmother and a beautiful woman inside in spirit and outside in physical beauty. She spent her life doing for others in her world... both for family and friends. Virginia was a loving, caring wife to her beloved L D, as well as a successful business woman in an era when many women chose to be home makers. She always had a listening hear for her customers who came to Peggy's and Virginia's Beauty Salon. She could share a good joke and a laugh with just about anyone when the time was appropriate:) She was a dear friend and travel companion for my Mother, me and others through the years. Virginia was just a part of our family and for that we are thankful. She lives on through her grace, her loving deeds, the wisdom and wit she shared with so many in her world. Thank you God for Miss Virginia!
