Rip Julie you were such a loving happy and thoughtfull person friend to us that new you for a short time before you and ian left from scotland to start your own life. We are deeply saddened to hear the news that ian has lost his lovely wife. They were a very happy couple out to do good the love of their lives where to help love and take care of all of their four legged friends. Heaven now has another angel to walk with those animals who crossed over the rainbow bridge. I didn't know her, but I work at a no-kill shelter and praise her for her efforts to help homeless animals.

I did not know her but anyone who does animal rescue deserves to live a long healthy life. You  sound like such a loving and caring person to help the animals all these years....  and I hope the happy memories all who knew and loved her have will carry you all thru this sad time. I will never forget sleeping over at my cousins house and being stuck in the bathroom with a bat hanging on the door who must have flown in the open window. Even in her younger years Julie was there to help. Not only me but the bat. She made sure to reacue us both. Such fond memories over the years. My love goes out to Ian and the rest of the family during this time and always. RIP Julie you have touched more hearts than you know.

You will be missed terribly, Aunt julie by all of those lives you have touched in your own social way. I know you and Nanny are together watching over each of us now. Rest beautifully lovely lady.

Rest In Peace Julie. You are a wonderful person for helping and taking in all the animals that you did. My husband and I also take in strays and unwanted animals. We have 6 and their all rescues and we love them dearly. Our condolences to Ian, Julies family and all the beautiful animals she left behind. We are so sorry.

According to Native American legend, when a human dies, there is a Bridge he or she must cross in order to enter Heaven. At the head of this Bridge waits every animal that the individual encountered during his or her lifetime. Based upon what they know of this person, the animals will decide which humans may cross the Bridge and which will be turned away. I'm sure Julie is with her beloved animals in Heaven and the animals still on earth have lost another angel.

I do not know who you were but just knowing what you did in your life, I

I just learned today who Julie was (in a news article), but I wanted to send prayers to her family and send words of thanks up to Julie, herself, for everything she did for unwanted and unloved animals. She was a very special person, indeed.

Oh no....just recently two other rescuers were also taken from us. Dear Jesus why are you taking all the good ones from us. Do you see how badly they are needed here, all the kitties and doggies were left homeless and now they are in desperate need of money and food. Not only that she will be dearly missed by all her furry friends and by everyone that knew her and her family. May the Lord have her and keep her close and next to him, she did nothing but good things in this world. May she rest in peace.

Sorry to read about the tragic loss of your wife.  We spoke about her love of animals many times back at BERKS several years ago. Sincerest sympathy and best to you in Texas in the upcoming years and into the future.
