

Cameron James Arons, age 17, of Red Bluff, CA tragically passed away on April 19, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, CA. Cameron is survived by his mom, Suzanne Schoelen of Red Bluff, CA, his siblings, Kalynne and Devan Schoelen of Los Angeles, CA and Joelee Arons of Redding, CA. Cameron was preceded in death by his dad, Scott Arons and his brother, Braden Schoelen.
Cameron was kind, loving, humorous, intellectual, responsible, and studious. His hobbies included snowboarding, hunting, trap shooting, dirt bike riding, golfing, working out in the gym, and boating on Lake Almanor. He was a talented drummer with an appreciation for music. He loved to travel and find the best restaurants and coffee shops.
Cameron excelled academically and worked very hard to earn a place among the top scholars of his graduating class. He'd been accepted to Pepperdine University and was awarded the George Pepperdine Achievement Scholarship. He was also accepted to UC Santa Barbara and was in the enrollment process, set to begin in the fall. He chose to major in Political Science and minor in Economics with the intention of becoming a lawyer. He hadn't decided which branch of law he would eventually pursue, but he knew he wanted to help protect people and achieve justice.
There aren't enough words to describe how special Cameron was to his family and friends. His smile was infectious. His eagerness to achieve was greatly admired. His humor and wit enthralled everyone around him. You couldn't help but be enamored by his soft, gentle character. The love he showed for those he cared about was among our greatest blessings.
A celebration of Cameron's life will be held Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 5:00 pm at "The Bluff", in Red Bluff, CA. In lieu of flowers, please consider paying it forward in a simple act of kindness for another.
