Douglas E. "Doug" Lindsey, 80 of Red Bluff, passed away peacefully, Thursday May 31, 2018 at home in his favorite recliner surrounded by loved ones and his mischevious puppy "Gracie". He was born August 16, 1937 to the late Ralph M. and Charolotte Lindsey in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was a veteran and had a 30 year career with the California Highway Patrol. Love of family, tennis and golf, Doug was blessed for many years. Survivors include his wife JoAnn of 13 years, sons Curtis M. Lindsey and Christopher E. Lindsey, from his marriage of over 40 years to loving wife Judith Ann Lindsey who preceded him in death in 2004, brothers Ralph Lindsey, Tracy Lindsey and sister Kay Dean Learned and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers, 816 Walnut St., on Friday June 8th at 11am with a reception immediatly following.
