Joe and Barbara lived in a Wonderful Place in the country in Red Bluff, CA.  We enjoyed many happy family times there with Rocky the Goat and with Knobby the Deer and his Family.  Thanks for the Memories!

Joe Besana was born in 1956.  Mark Hofmeister, his brother-in-law, was born in 1957.  We spent time together and had a lot of fun.  We both liked the outdoors, animals, and nature. 
So glad you came down to the Bay Area to attend your 50th Reunion for Milpitas High School Class of 1974.  It was especially cool that you drove around in the hills in Milpitas and saw your old stomping grounds.  It is still wild and beautiful up there with golden sunsets.

Joe voluntarily joined the US Armed Services in about 1976 and retired in around 1996, after serving around the world and finally in the Middle East during the first Persian Gulf War.  He saw the Pyramids in Egypt.  That was one of his favorite adventures!
After his time in the Service of our Country, Joe spent most of his working years and all of his retirement years collecting various cool stuff, duck hunting, fishing, and panning for Gold while living in the countryside on 23 acres just west of Red Bluff, CA.  He and his partner, Barbara,  had many animals.  There was Rooster Elvis, Rocky the Goat, Biscuit & Red Dog & The Wookie Dog, all colors of Cats, and Knobby the Deer on the "red bluff ranch".
Rest In Peace, Joe.  Thank you for your Service!

We hope you have happy memories of the old days, like we do.  It was a lot of fun to see everybody at the Besana gatherings.  Like smelting with Uncle Richie at Martins Beach at night.  Uncle Joey and Aunt Dell brought some of you guys out there too.  We all ate fish out of the skillet until they stopped running.  Patti and Barbara, David, Little Joey... the oldest kids.  Our Sympathy and Best Wishes to All.

We sure shared a lot of fun days and memories over our lives together, little joey.  When you lived in Milpitas we played together at Grandma  and Grandpa Besana's  cabin in the Santa Cruz Mountains.   We sure got old fast, huh.
I saved this picture below that you gave me when you were in the 3rd grade.  Seems like so long ago.  See you soon, little joey.
