was married to Charles Miller from 1960 to 1980 having
two daughters, Belinda Trent and Becky Puckett.
Lana married John Woodruff on September 29, 1981 and
spent the next forty years with him by her side. Together
they renovated several houses before building their own
home. They spent many hours planning, planting, cultivating,
and harvesting their very bountiful gardens. Lana

She lived a simple but fruitful life. She pursued various
occupations during her lifetime waitress, factory worker,
cashier, bookkeeper, and her favorite – homemaker.
She was an avid reader, spent several years as a competitive
bowler as well as an amazing crocheter. There
was never enough yarn for her to create her many expert
projects. Her numerous projects of Afghans, lap blankets,
dollies were elegant with a rainbow of colors.
Lana and John spent hours working their gardens, enjoying
quiet time, attending family functions as well as
going to the Casino for food and fun. Just being together
was all they needed.

Woodruff, daughters, Belinda Trent (Kendel) and Becky
Puckett, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She is also survived by brother, David Pender, three sisters:
Peggy Spaulding, Mary Blevins and Kathy Reed.
Lana was known by many names: Mom, Mama, wife,

as well as her love for her husband, family, and
friends.
