Virginia was born on February 16, 1931, in Portland, OR. Throughout her life, Virginia was a devoted stay-at-home mom and homemaker. Virginia was a beloved wife and family member who was married twice in her life, first to Charles R White, Sr in 1946 and then to Earl Wulff in 1980. She was known for her warm laughter, her baking of Christmas treats for her friends and family, her passion for plants and flowers, her love of crocheting, baking, bowling, traveling (by land only), scrapbooking, and gardening. In her later years, she really enjoyed a glass of A&W Root Beer, a nice slice of cheesecake (or two), watching the Golden Girls and telling stories about the past.
Virginia is survived by her (grand)daughter Cat; granddaughters Christine, Carry, Kristine, and Michelle; sister Elizabeth; daughter-in-law Diane; as well as numerous great grandchildren, including Matthew, Nicole, Mitchell, and Charlee. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Althea Cline (Durr); father, Lloyd Eugene Cline; husband, Charles R White Sr; husband, Earl G Wulff; daughter, Laura White; sons, Charles White Jr and Robert White; brothers, William, and Richard; sisters Barbara, Jacqualine Carol and Dorothy; grandsons, Charles III and Edward "Guy”.
A celebration of life for Virginia will be held on June 5th at 1:00 PM at Country Bowl, 2615 Bechelli Lane, Redding, CA 96002. Virginia enjoyed bowling until recently, so this location is a fitting tribute to her.
As an expression of condolences to the family, donations can be made in Virginia's name to Butte Home Health & Hospice or any local hospice organization.
