Mom- What a grand lady you were!!  My prayer is that I will become a woman of grace that you demonstrated as you aged.  Always positive and forgiving to those that you loved.  You were careful to not set negative words into motion in all of us.  I am grateful for your example, and will focus to do the same.  I love you, and consider it a privilege to be your daughter.  rest in peace, and thank you for the memories.  Linda

I am so blessed to have had the last 6 months to be with you Mom.  I loved caring for you, talking with you about old memories and holding your hand until the day the Lord called you to be with Him. You will forever be in my heart with wonderful memories of times we shared.  You were the BEST example of a loving and caring Mother....I love you!

Today I feel very honored to be a part of a legacy that my grandma has left behind for us. When I think of her, I remember her as a very strong & admirable woman. She had high standards. But with those standards came so much love for her family, her children, grand children, & great grand children. She was so very proud of us & you could see it in her smiling eyes. 

Those of my friends who are close to me know all about my tiny little German grandma with the biggest personality. I would tell people she may be small but she will ehipbyou into shape quickly if you do wrong! And I would add that what she lacked in stature she more than made up for in character & personality. She was a great person to be around.

I am grateful that we had an additional nearly 30 years with her as she survived an aneurism in the mid 1980's. The Dr's referred to her as the miracle patient. 
We are all so blessed to have had this time with her. 

She is at peace now after a long and giving life.  We hope that we continue to make you proud as you watch over us from heaven. 
We know that in spirit, you are still with us in those things you instilled in us & to your descendants in the traits of yours we have all been fortunate enough to inherit.  You have left behind the sound of your voice, the feeling of your touch, and that gleam in your eyes as you looked into ours. I personally love that sometimes when I laugh I can hear you in my laughter. 
I will always love you very much! Thank you for being you!

Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.You will be missed deeply Dottie! Thank you for being you, a wonderful friend...

I will never say goodbye to you, because I know this is not the end for us to see each other.You will only be going to a place where there's no pain nor suffering.I am happy for you! for you will be with God. I just want to Thank you so much for loving unconditionally,for being an amazing, caring woman that has touched so many lives! So this is not a good bye but a "see you later" You can now rest my friend and know i love you so very much and will always hold our memories close to my heart as you are!

I'll always remember our last dance.  Thank you so much for having and raising Linda, the joy of my life.  You were truly a most remarkable woman and mother.
The world would be a much better place if there were more mothers like you!

  You have been the most adoring and wonderful wife in all creation.  You have suffered many trials in life and have overcome them with love and compassion.  Farewell until we meet again.

My Grandma left us yesterday to be in a better place. My Mom and my Aunt have been taking care of her as her body was preparing to say Goodbye. I wish I had some pictures of her to share when she was young and beautiful but anything I have is packed in storage. What I do have is the memories. I remember many things about my Grandma.
She loved the color blue. Baby blue especially. She loved Wedgewood China and collected frog statues. She used to smoke those Eve cigarettes with the flowers on the butt and I thought it was so glamorous. She was creative and funny. She made me dolls when I was little and then when I grew up she made beautiful lingerie (slips and camis) with gorgeous lace details. She always gave us Cracker Jacks. She was the tiniest grown up I ever knew with such a big personality.
I didnt see my Grandma much in the last 20 years but I see some of her every time I look at my Mom.
Thank you Grandma for your love and for giving me Linda Brady.

Jill, Mike and Linda,
You were the "Front Line Angels" who so lovingly and without hesitation took on the loving care and protection for your Beautiful Mom.  She has blessed your home with a peace that goes beyond understanding and a love that not everyone will experience in their lives.  God's plan is perfect.  He did his work though your Mom to prepare your hearts for a better understanding of His Will, Grace and Mercy.  Now she is in His loving arms, pain free and now watching over you all.  The cycle of life.  You are so very blessed.  Yes, this precious lady will remain in your hearts forever.

I will never forget my summer visits with Grandma in Southern California.  My first airplane rides by myself to go and visit. :-) doing Silica flowers with her was so much fun...... I remember eating grapefruit with her for breakfast with orange juice. I remember as I got older I began to tower over her in height.  Such a fun lady, I really enjoyed the time that I got to spend with her.  so many memories do begin to start flooding back.  She will be missed.

Forever in our hearts will a light shine brightly for Dottie; a lady of majesty, grace and dignity who always had a smile to share.
