Florence Beaber

Florence Beaber passed away August 23, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. Flossie/Flo as her family and friends called her was born August 22, 1924 in Boston, MA to John White and Florence Welch. She lived there until she met and married Warren (Bud) Beaber August 26, 1945. They moved to Mt Shasta, CA where they lived for 17 years. Flossie worked as Deputy City Clerk for the city of Dunsmuir. She later went to work for the US Forest Service in Mt Shasta In 1963 she and her family moved to Redding, CA. She continued her career with the US Forest Service until her Retirement in 1978. Flossie who was a devout Catholic enjoyed her family and friends, traveling and her love of bingo. She was loved by all who met her and she will be missed forever. She was the best Mom, Nana and friend you could ask for. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Beaber. Brother John White and sister Bernadette Henderson. She is survived by daughter Lauretta Day and son in law Brent Day, daughter Maureen Ford and granddaughter Shauna Day. Three brothers: Thomas White, AZ, Joseph LaPrise, MO and Robert LaPrise Redding, CA. Many nieces and nephews. Services are at Mc Donald's Chapel1275 Continental St., Redding, CA 96001 Friday September 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please give to the charity of your choice.
