Dear Gladys, my friend, in another day it will be a year since you have rejoined your husband, George, leaving loving family and friends to grieve. I did not hear of your passing for two and a half months finally realizing that it had been so long since I had heard anything I feared that you were gone.  I was not sad for you because it is what you fervently wished, but I still miss you, my friend of sixty-one years. My condolences to Diane, Tammi, Bradley and Heather and others who loved you.
