I remember all those night of card playing. I remember how sweet Kathy always was and am glad we got everything straightened out several years ago. I loved her as I do the whole family.  Remember the year Gump played Santa and there were more packages and the tree couldn’t be seen at all! Lol it took hours to open them all but it was so fun.   Our families have been friends/family a long long time and I will miss you Kathy!

My Mother was someone I could always count on to be there for me - from our car accident  on our way skiing she stayed with me the whole time; every celebration with our kids, our business events  and helping us moving to different homes - she was there (even though she lived 8 hours away).  She was the strongest & most spiritual person I ever knew.  She believed in me and told me when I was 10 years old that I was meant to do something special with my life, and that I would make a difference; and truth be told - this is genuinely who I have become.  She told me the day I got married,   that my husband must come 1st, then my children, then my  family.  I have tried to live this way. She told me to keep my relationship with my husband private and  stay away from family gossip - and she was right again. She was wise!  I will always remember playing gin rummy with my mom, drinking tea and watching Fright Night on a Saturday night, while the rest of my family went to the stock car races - this was our quiet time. She played a sing on her guitar and sang "Red Wing" about an indian maiden who lost her brave - I always cried! Her belief in me; in true love and family will always be with me.   I love bowling, fishing, camping, dancing, movies, playing games, and get my fashion sense from my mom; as she always looked her best and I wanted to be like her. She was wonderful to my children and made my husband feel like he was her own Son. My mother was not judgmental, and usually liked an under dog. Our home was always filled with all the kids in the neighborhood, along with dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, or whatever else her kids brought home. My Mom brought out the best in me - I loved her so much and I will be forever grateful to her and the gift of life she gave me.  I will see you in heaven Mom! Thank you forever!  Debra Lynn Williams
